Eat THIS to Destroy Colon Cancer
Dear Living Well Daily Reader,
Once it’s started to spread, trying to stop colon cancer is like herding cats — virtually impossible.
And even if you undergo all of the risky and sickening mainstream treatments, there’s still a good chance your cancer isn’t gone.
So your best bet is to stop the spread of colon cancer early, before it has a chance to advance.
Fortunately, it just got a whole lot easier to do this.
Because researchers from Aberdeen University have just found a delicious way to stop colon cancer in its tracks.
I’m talking about omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, like ones found in some of your favorite foods.
And while it’s no secret that these powerful compounds are good for your heart and brain, the effects they have on cancer weren’t well-known until recently.
For the study, researchers measured 650 colon cancer patients for special enzyme markers that are linked to omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acid levels.
Next, the team compared their chances of colon cancer survival with the enzyme levels.
After crunching the numbers, they found that folks who had the highest levels of the enzymes had the best chance of beating colon cancer.
It’s as if the fatty acids stopped colon cancer in its tracks!
Omega-3s and omega-6s are so powerful against the spread of cancer because once the body breaks them down, they release special molecules that directly attack cancer cells, preventing them from spreading.
You can get more omega 3s and omega 6s by eating more fatty fish, poultry, nuts and eggs.
Or you can take a supplement that contains both, which you can find at your local pharmacy.
