Forget Calcium! Here’s The REAL Way to Protect Your Bones

Calcium! Calcium! Calcium!

I’m sick and tired of hearing the mainstream talk about calcium.

No animal on earth consumes as much calcium as we humans do…

And yet we still have some of the weakest bones!

Now, we finally know why.

According to new research, the REAL cause of bone loss has NOTHING to do with calcium.

Instead, keeping healthy bones boils down to just one thing.

Here’s what you need to know.

Mitochondria are those little power packs inside your cells – all energy in your body comes you’re your mitochondria.

But here’s the problem: mitochondria are easy to damage.

Damaged mitochondria are well known to decrease mental abilities, affect your heart, your energy, and sleep…

And now we know that impaired mitochondria can damage your bones, too.

Here is how it works…

Inside your bones are two cells called osteoblasts and osteoclasts. Osteoblasts (these cells build your bone up) and osteoclasts (these teardown bones)

You might think of your bones as solid rock-like structures. But the truth is our bones are constantly remodeling themselves: pulling down old bone and building new bone throughout your life.

But when mitochondria are damaged, your bone-building osteoblasts stop functioning.

Meanwhile, the osteoclasts keep doing their job… and continue to break down your bones

And the end result is bone loss.

Scientists believe that this type of mitochondrial damage could be the root cause of osteoporosis and other bone-loss disorders.

Fortunately, there are a few easy ways to shield your mitochondria… and even REVERSE some of the damage already done.

Dr. Scott’s Mitochondria Protection Protocol:

  • CoQ10 (CoenzymeQ10) is found throughout our bodies and is used for energy production and antioxidant protection. CoQ10 has been shown to lower inflammation and power mitochondria.
  • Selenium is a mineral super-antioxidant that improves the efficacy of CoQ10. Selenium supports mitochondrial function.
  • Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) is a master super-antioxidant. It works so well because it is a powerful antioxidant and it helps to regenerate other antioxidants, including Vitamin C, Vitamin E, glutathione, CoQ10. ALA also supports mitochondrial energy production.
  • Vitamin E is another powerful mitochondrial support medicine. Vitamin E works well with CoQ10 and is one of the most important vitamin antioxidants that help to protect all cells from oxidative damage.
