Here’s Why You Can’t Lose Weight

There is nothing more frustrating in the world.

You’re practically starving yourself… you’re exercising like crazy.

And you stand on the scale, and the needle doesn’t move at all.

Here’s the problem – just about EVERYTHING we’ve been told about weight loss is DEAD WRONG.

But if you try my few simple tips, I can GUARANTEE you’re going to experience more weight loss than you ever thought possible.

Let’s start with the reasons most people aren’t losing weight:

#1 Your medications are working against you: Many drugs, including: Benadryl, Ambien, Paxil, Depo-Provera, benzodiazepines, beta-blockers (for high blood pressure), diabetes medications (including insulin, sulfonylureas, and thioridazines), antidepressants, and antipsychotic medications can all block your weight loss efforts.

#2 You’re forgetting about your muscles: Your muscle mass has more to do with your metabolism than anything else you can change. Make sure you are at least walking to build muscles, but think about doing some light weight lifting to build  muscle mass and give your metabolism a boost.

#3 You’re ignoring your blood sugar: Whenever you eat sugars and foods that act like sugars, you send your blood sugar and insulin skyrocketing. Insulin promotes fat storage and will keep you from losing weight.

Now here are some things you can do to help speed weight loss, starting today:

#1 Eat more protein: You need to eat protein to feel full, have less appetite, and lower your cravings. Protein easily fills you up and uses more energy to digest than any other type of food. Protein also helps build muscle mass–which pushes your metabolism into overdrive.

#2 Drink only water: This is the hardest step for most people, but the calories that come from drinking soda, juice or anything besides water are calories you don’t need. If you want to drink something else, try green tea or coffee–these kick your metabolism into high gear and help your weight loss efforts.

#3 Get some supplement help:  Try berberine. This plant extract helps to reduce inflammation and gives your natural fat-burning switch a good kick. African mango, ashwagandha, and saffron are also great for helping you lose those extra pounds.
