Mature woman looks at hair in hand and worries about hair loss

MAILBAG: NATURAL Hair Loss Solutions

Anything natural for hair loss?”

– Terry, Reno, NV

Hi Terry,

About 50 percent of men and 52 percent of women experience hair loss after age 50.

In other words, it’s VERY common.

Hair loss can occur for many reasons. And that can make it difficult to treat sometimes.

But there are a few common reasons people start to thin on top. And many folks CAN successfully put the brakes on more hair loss and grow new hair.

Common Reasons for Hair Loss

Poor blood sugar control is one of the more common (and nearly always overlooked) reasons for hair loss.

People who have diabetes tend to have far more hair loss than folks who don’t. Keeping your blood sugar under control with diet, exercise, and proper supplementation can help your hair stay put.

But don’t stop there. Other effective solutions for hair loss include the following…

  1. Collagen: Your hair is mostly protein. Specifically, a type called collagen. Collagen has many benefits, including building strong nails, reducing wrinkles, and supporting the digestive tract. But collagen is an absolute necessity for hair growth. High-protein foods can help supply your body with the building blocks of collagen. But I suggest taking a supplement too.
  2. B vitamins: B vitamins help with many processes in the body. One of these is helping to grow a healthy head of hair. The B vitamin biotin is essential for hair growth. Legumes, egg yolks, organ meats, nuts, seeds, mushrooms, avocados, sweet potatoes, and yeast are all good sources of biotin. Plus, supplements are available.
  3. Pumpkin Seed Oil: This oil is high in zinc, and studies show it can increase hair growth by up to 30 percent. It works by blocking 5-alpha reductase (an enzyme thought to be responsible for balding and hair loss).
  4. Saw Palmetto: This herb is often used for good prostate health, but it’s also been researched for hair loss. Experts believe saw palmetto may reduce hair loss by blocking the absorption of the hormone DHT (dihydrotestosterone).
  5. Microneedling: This process is like acupuncture for your head. Tiny needles are rolled over your scalp to stimulate hair follicles. Research suggests it may be helpful for both male and female pattern baldness.

I should also mention ketoconazole shampoo. It’s an antifungal medication you can buy at almost any drugstore.

Ketoconazole isn’t a natural treatment. But it IS a safe and effective one. Undetected fungal infections are a common cause of hair loss.

P.S. Scientists stumbled upon a weird new cause of hair loss. And it was BALD mice that led to the breakthrough. What they discovered could hold the key to giving YOU back your luscious locks forever. CLICK HERE for the strange story.
