"Needle Trick" ERASES Arthritis Pain

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

The other day my son taught me a saying: “FOMO” or “fear of missing out.”

And if there’s one thing arthritis can make you feel (besides the nagging pain) it’s FOMO.

Living with chronically swollen, painful joints means you have to miss out on all the fun, whether it’s a round of golf with the fellas or volunteering at the children’s museum.

And now, with summertime arriving and social distancing measures being scaled back, you’re missing out more than ever.

But you don’t have to.

Researchers have discovered a simple “needle trick” that can reverse your symptoms.

And unlike those cortisone shots, you won’t feel a thing!

*****

A new study found that people getting electroacupuncture did much better than those who got no treatment at all.

The researchers looked at 480 participants and randomized them into three groups: those getting a sham (fake) acupuncture treatment, those who received traditional acupuncture, and those who got electroacupuncture.

Electroacupuncture is like regular acupuncture (it still uses needles), except a tiny electrical current is passed through the needles. Practitioners who use electroacupuncture theorize the electricity enhances the acupuncture…

And that’s exactly what this study found.

An amazing 60 percent of people getting electroacupuncture saw relief in pain levels AND function… and it lasted for six months!

Even 58 percent of the folks who got regular acupuncture saw results.

I know it sounds a little scary—electricity plus needles!?

But there’s no need to fear. Most people don’t even feel the needles or the electric current running through them.

If you’d like to try it for yourself, look for a certified acupuncturist in your area.

And if you really want to stop the pain, add in the following.

Dr. Scott’s Four-Step Arthritis Solution:

  • Feed your joints. Make sure you have enough of the basic building blocks. Collagen, eggshell membrane, and vitamin C are all great sources of nutrients your joints need. These supplements are all widely available online.
  • Stop Inflammation. Inflammation is lowered by avoiding vegetable oils, processed foods, and by eating a low-sugar diet. Fish oil is my favorite anti-inflammatory supplement, and I like curcumin and Boswellia as well.
  • Diet. Eat good proteins and fish a few times a week.
  • Exercise. Joints become stronger when you exercise. Don’t attempt anything crazy—simply walking can do wonders.
