Relaxing Asian Exercise DESTROYS Belly Fat

No one likes having a large midsection.

A bigger belly makes you self-conscious, and it can cause a myriad of dangerous health problems, including heart attack and diabetes.

If you’ve tried those “ab-busting” workouts on the internet, I’m betting the scale still hasn’t budged even a pound. That’s because belly fat is the hardest type to get rid of (especially if you’re a senior).

But thankfully, it’s NOT impossible.

And now, a group of scientists have just found a simple way to tilt the scales in your favor.

All you have to do is try this relaxing  Asian exercise that can help DESTROY belly fat.

I’m talking about tai chi.

Tai chi is a slow, low-intensity, martial arts-based exercise popular in Asia. While not as well-known as yoga, tai chi is gaining popularity because it helps support good health – especially in older adults.

In fact, a lot of large hospitals now have tai chi teachers because research has shown it helps with stress, depression, and flexibility, as well as balance and coordination.

Yet despite all the research behind tai chi, no one thought it would help with busting that belly fat. That is, until a group of researchers from the University of California, studied 543 volunteers to see which worked best for weight loss:

  • conventional aerobic exercise,
  • strength training,
  • or tai chi.

By the end of the 12-week study, the researchers found that tai chi matched the belly-fat-burning effect of both aerobic exercise AND strength training!

I don’t know about you, but most folks would rather have a slow and easy exercise to sweating it out at the gym any day.

And it’s exactly those slow movements of tai chi that make it so effective for maintaining coordination, mobility, building muscles in your legs and core, as well as sucking off the belly fat.

To find a tai chi class near you, check your local community center or library or try this directory.

P.S. And if you’re looking for a healthy snack for refueling after your tai chi lesson, look no further. This delicious fruit will fill you up WITHOUT packing on the pounds.
