SLASH Brain Age Up to 9 MONTHS!

With each tick of the clock, we grow older.

And, of course, our brains are aging right along with the rest of us.

But it’s not just time alone that takes a toll on our thinkers. Because, despite being protected by our tough skull bones, our brains are vulnerable and sensitive to decay.

In fact, our brains often age FASTER than the rest of us. And that can lead to memory loss and the angst and misery that go along with it as we enter our golden years.

But there’s a way to pump the brakes on brain aging. In fact, new research reveals one surprising solution can slow brain aging by as much as nine months alone!

Keeping our wits about us as we age is a gift we ALL deserve.

But to be honest, it CAN be a challenge. After all, our brains are being bombarded daily from all directions.

For example, exposure to heavy metals and damaging chemicals in the air and foods we eat can affect brain function.

Or eating a typical Western diet filled with processed foods can cause you to pack on extra pounds, triggering chronic inflammation.

And when that inflammation reaches your BRAIN, it can… cause brain fog, interfere with energy production in brain cells, lead to memory loss, and accelerated brain shrinkage.

But a new study published in the journal eLife has uncovered a way to FIGHT BACK against accelerated brain aging.

Researchers had a group of volunteers follow a Mediterranean-style diet focusing on foods like seafood, vegetables, olive oil, and whole grains OR standard dietary guidelines.

After 18 months, participants were given brain scans.

They found that folks who switched to a Mediterranean diet AND lost as little as one percent of their body weight had their brain aging slow by as much as nine months.

Now the Mediterranean diet isn’t magic, of course.

The key takeaway is that people who went on a HEALTHY diet that had them steer clear of ultra-processed foods, added sugars, and inflammation-triggering vegetable oils saw significant improvements in their brain health.

If you want to mimic these same brain-boosting results in your own life, focus on eating lots of…

  • fresh, grass-fed meats,
  • wild-caught seafood,
  • organic fruits and vegetables,
  • whole grains like lentils and beans,
  • and nuts, seeds, and olive oil.

Limit anything in packages and avoid everything made in a fast-food restaurant like the plague.

When you make these changes, you’ll automatically shed those extra pounds. Then add some easy daily exercise like walking after meals to keep your weight within a healthy range.
