Stop Depression WITHOUT Pills?!?
Dear Living Well Daily Reader,
Depression can strike at any time.
And when it does, it can be incredibly tough to shake.
To make things worse, the mainstream offers only risky drugs that can make you sick, wreck your sex life and can even push you to the brink of suicide.
But it doesn’t have to be this way anymore.
Because Canadian researchers have just found a drug-free way to stop depression at its source — your gut.
The bacteria in your gut can greatly affect your mood. And when they’re out of balance, these bacteria can put you on a collision course with depression.
Because of this, scientists at Queen’s University in Ontario wanted to see if restoring the balance of certain gut bugs could help reverse depression symptoms.
The recent studies focused on 10 patients suffering from a major depressive episode and were not receiving any other treatment.
For eight weeks, the participants took a probiotic supplement and underwent regular screenings to evaluate their depressive symptoms.
And the probiotics made a huge impact…
After just four short weeks, the probiotics had greatly improved the participants’ mood and reduced anhedonia (the inability to feel pleasure) and sleep disturbances.
At eight weeks, the results were maintained and had even further improved for mood.
Even better, there were ZERO side effects.
Real depression relief without risking your health or life? Count me in!
Experts believe probiotics are so effective at fighting depression because they reduce inflammation and up your levels of a brain chemical called serotonin. Low serotonin is a driving force of depression.
Clinical trials are in the works for the formula used in this study, which combines two different strains of probiotics called Lactobacillus helveticus and Bifidobacterium longum.
One supplement, called Mood Probiotic, contains both strands and can found by clicking here.
