The TRUTH About Prostate Cancer Screening (SHOCKING)

Prostate cancer is the one thing every man fears.

And who could blame you?

Mainstream treatments can leave you incontinent… in pain… and totally inept in the bedroom.

But it seems like every year, your risk of getting this life-changing disease increases.

In fact, a recent report says that cases of advanced prostate cancer have increased by a whopping 72 percent in the last decade.

That seems like reason enough to go get a Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) screening.

Before you start your mad dash to your doc, you might want to read further…

Here’s what you need to know.

The study, from Northwestern University, suggested that the increase in advanced prostate cancer might be tied to a 2012 recommendation that men NOT be screened for prostate cancer.

If you read this newsletter at all, you know that I make the same recommendation – skip your yearly PSA if you don’t have any prostate symptoms.

You see, the PSA test is raised in prostate cancer, but other conditions can increase your numbers, too.

Most importantly, a positive PSA test often leads to procedures that steal a man’s erection and cause a great deal of discomfort (often for no good reason).

And – I can’t believe I have to say this – but the study was incredibly flawed for reasons a monkey could understand.

The reason why the numbers have increased is because there are more senior people.

Have you heard of the baby boom? Well… those people are getting older.

Moreolder people equals more cancer (of every kind).

When you look at the PERCENTAGE of men who are getting advanced prostate cancer, nothing has changed.

All this doesn’t mean you don’t have to worry about prostate problems. You might.

You know you are having problems with your prostate when you:

  • Wake at night to go the bathroom more than once
  • Have problems starting or stopping a stream
  • Have a stream that starts and stops
  • Or you feel like you can never completely empty your bladder.

If you have any of these symptoms, the time to talk to your naturopathic doctor about your prostate is now.
