URGENT Hospital Warning for Seniors

Nobody goes to the hospital for fun.

You go there to get well.

Maybe you’ve just had a heart attack… or maybe you took a fall… or maybe you were in a dangerous accident.

No matter the reason for your visit, you probably think that the worst is over.

But the truth is your REAL health problems have just begun.

Because there’s a deadly bacteria lurking in U.S. hospitals.

And it’s KILLING THOUSANDS of seniors every year.

Fortunately, there are some ways to combat this deadly bug.

I’m talking about C. difficile or C. diff.

This infection occurs almost exclusively in hospitals and results from our overuse of antibiotics.

You see, antibiotics kill off the good bacteria in your body, which can weaken your immune system.  This dangerous combo makes you a sitting duck for a C. diff infection.

Even worse? This hearty bacteria strain is resistant to most antibiotics… making it nearly impossible to treat.

And once you’ve got it you could be looking at weeks… or months… or even years of diarrhea, abdominal cramps and other gut problems.

Treatments for C. diff range from rare antibiotics to fecal implants (yes, this is a real thing), but even if you beat it… chances are you’ll get it again.

So your best bet is never get C. diff in the first place.

Fortunately, there are few ways to do that.

First, always practice good hand washing, whether you’re in the hospital or not. This will STOP the spread of C. diff. If you’re in the hospital, make sure the staff is doing this, too.

Then, strengthen you gut with probiotics. This added dose of “good” bacteria will protect you from any damage done from antibiotics and help reduce your symptoms if you’ve got C. diff.

You can get more probiotics in your diet by eating fermented foods like sauerkraut, yogurt, and kimchi.

Or you can get a probiotic supplement at your local pharmacy. These supplements are also available at many hospitals, all you have to do is ask the doc to put you on one.

And a new study shows that four powerful spices – garlic, peppermint, cinnamon and ginger – can KILL C. diff.

So eating more of these before and after a hospital stay is a great way to lessen your chances of suffering from this nasty infection, too.
