Weird Flower STOPS Hot Flashes and Bone Loss
Dear Living Well Daily Reader,
Nothing’s worse than going through “the change”.
And even once you’re on the other side of menopause, it doesn’t mean the hot flashes, hormone swings and bone-loss problems are over.
To make things worse, you doctor offers little more than dangerous synthetic hormones and risky drugs to help ease your symptoms.
But it looks like this could all be about to change.
Because a new Danish study shows that a weird-looking flower could be the key to stopping your uncomfortable symptoms in their tracks.
And the best part? It can also protect your bones.
Red clover is the wonder plant I’m talking about.
For years scientists have known it can help with hot flashes but that it wasn’t always easily absorbed by your body.
Because of this, researchers from AARHUS University want to see if fermented red clover worked better against menopause symptoms.
In the trial, scientists split a group of 60 women with menopausal symptoms in two. One group drank 150 ml of fermented red clover extract daily and the other drank a placebo.
At the end of the 12-week trial, the fermented red clover group saw a significant decrease in both the severity and amount of daily hot flashes.
But the good news doesn’t end there…
The fermented red clover completely STOPPED menopause-related bone loss in the participants!
Fewer, less severe hot flashes and healthy bones? Sounds almost too good to be true.
Experts report that red clover is so powerful against menopause because it contains special compounds that help balance your hormones.
Fermented red clover supplements haven’t hit the market yet.
In the meantime, you can get standardized red clover extract supplements from your local pharmacy or vitamin shop.
Live well,
