[ALERT] Gut-Destroying Food Discovered!

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

If you’re a loyal reader of this e-letter, you know that I love to talk about gut health.

And there’s a reason for this.

A healthy gut contributes to everything from a strong immune system to a good night’s sleep.

That’s why you need to see this new study immediately.

Researchers have discovered a gut-destroying food that could put you a risk for disease.

But don’t worry… I’m going to tell you everything you need to know.

****

This food has been on my never-put-in-your-mouth list for years because it destroys your gut bacteria, increases blood sugar, and leads to weight gain. Plus, it can even have direct toxic effects on your nerves, leading to depression, anxiety, and Alzheimer’s disease.

I’m talking about artificial sweeteners.

Artificial sweeteners are known to cause migraines, changes in vision, nausea, insomnia, joint pain, palpitations, depression, memory loss… the list goes on.

And if that’s not enough, a new study published in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences found that artificial sweeteners cause healthy gut bacteria to become diseased and invade the gut wall.

The scientists in the study were shocked to watch normal gut bacteria transform into harmful bacteria when they were exposed to artificial sweeteners. These new bacteria then killed intestinal cells (called Caco-2 cells).

Certain gut bacteria are known to cross the intestinal wall and enter the blood stream where they move to the lymph nodes, liver, and spleen. There, they can cause infections and even lead to septicemia, a deadly form of blood poisoning.

But here’s the WORST part…

The researchers calculated that it only took the equivalent of two cans of diet soda to increase the intestinal cell-attacking ability of the bacteria.

Our bodies are under attack by so many things in our modern world. Why add to it? Especially when you could harm your gut health.

But remember, if you want to avoid artificial sweeteners, they’re found in a LOT of products. Make sure to check labels carefully for saccharin, sucralose, and aspartame.

And if you like to add artificial sweeteners to your coffee or tea, try swapping them out for a natural calorie-free sweetener like monkfruit or stevia.
