Viruses don’t stand a chance when you fix indoor air quality

When it comes to preventing COVID, the only advice you hear anymore is to make sure you’re up to date on your vaccinations.

Now, to be clear, I DON’T think vaccinations are useless.

In fact, the OPPOSITE is true.

Had we let the pandemic go without ever implementing vaccines, I believe the graveyards would be FULL of people.

But I do take issue with stopping there.

Especially when there’s one solution, in particular, that could be a true game changer.

There are several other measures we can take that could help keep us safe and reduce the risk of infections.

And that potential protection doesn’t stop with COVID, either. It also includes viruses like the flu and the common cold.

I’ve already shared several of those solutions right here in Living Well Daily.

They range from the tried and true, like masks and social distancing, to the surprising, like exercise and melatonin.

But one measure that has the potential to slash the risk of viral transmission is constantly being overlooked.

And that’s improving indoor air quality.

Every public place where people meet should have a system for removing and replacing old air with new. This includes stores, churches, restaurants, hospitals, airplanes, buses, and trains.

The current pandemic won’t be the last time we see an infectious agent spread across the globe. And we need to put systems in place NOW that will stop the future spread of these diseases.

If you agree, call your local congressperson to tell them how you feel.

P.S. Indoor air can be two to five times worse than outside air. Everything from paint to household cleaners and mold to pet dander is polluting our homes. An air purifier can help. But ONLY if you follow these guidelines.
