Breakthrough COVID Infections!? (Shocking)

Dear Living Well Daily Reader,

One of the big unanswered questions about the COVID-19 vaccination is will it prevent you from getting an infection…

After all, you have to get a new flu shot every year… so why would this be any different?

But the truth is this: in life, there are no guarantees.

And now researchers have uncovered some disturbing facts about the COVID-19 vaccine.

A new study has shown that so-called “breakthrough” COVID-19 infections are possible.

And it’s absolutely terrifying…

*****

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) found that more than 10,000 fully-vaccinated Americans have experienced “breakthrough” COVID-19 infections after being vaccinated.

What’s worse? The researchers admitted that this number is probably an underestimate because not every breakthrough infection is reported to a doctor.

The good news is that 27 percent of the folks in the report didn’t even notice that they had the infection… the bad news is, two percent of the 10,000 people died.

There are many reasons why this happened.

First, no vaccination is perfect. In fact, you might remember me talking about how last year’s flu vaccine was such a failure. (Read more right here.)

It seems that they’re having some of the same problems with the COVID-19 vaccine.

The study found that 64 percent of the infections were due to variants of COVID-19. Much like the flu, the COVID virus is constantly changing.

This study just enforces the same advice I always give: your best bet it to stay as healthy as possible.

If you have a chronic condition like diabetes, heart disease, or are even just overweight… then take steps today to put yourself in good health.

And while you’re at it, make sure you’re getting plenty of vitamin D to strengthen your immune system.

It’s an excuse to get outside and enjoy the warm weather AND boost your body’s natural defense system at the same time. Aim for around 15 to 20 minutes of direct sunlight.
